Integrative Psychotherapy

Integrative Psychotherapy (IP) is a short, effective and tailor-made therapy. The therapy is applicable on a large scale thanks to the integration of various types of therapy, which combines the effective components of different schools of psychotherapy.

Personalized approach

Scientific research shows that the effectiveness of each studied therapeutic form is more or less the same. A therapy that is effective for every person does not exist, because everyone is different and needs a personalized approach and techniques to heal. This is one of the most important points of Integrative Psychotherapy (IP).

Integration

IP is versatile and applicable on a large scale of psychological problems. It is constantly developing and improving, thanks to the integration based on research and experience from different schools of psychotherapy. IP is a holistic therapy, which means that it considers the person as a whole consisting of physical component, behaviours, feelings, thoughts, etc.

For therapy it is important that the client actively works on his/her problems to achieve the maximum result and to be able to continue independently.

Some examples where you can work on through integrative psychotherapy:

  • breaking with automatic habits and impediments
  • (re)finding psychological balance
  • normalizing the sense of guilt
  • resolving internal conflicts
  • personal development
  • (self)acceptance
  • self-confidence
  • self-knowledge
  • letting go

Single sessions

125 for a 60-minute session of individual integrative therapy to resolve the problem at it's core. Including eventual individual family constellations, and coaching. With a psychologist with more than 15 years of experience. The sessions can also be done online.

Individual sessions are always available for those who prefer to have freedom and do not want or cannot have several sessions per month. However, it is only recommended for those who have already done therapy before (elsewhere) and only need a little more help or simply want a few sessions to do only family constellations.

Packs

Do you want to be really effective? Then I recommend a pack or program. There is more guarantee of solid and deep results. In addition it gives you  clarity and a firm promise to yourself to regain control over your emotions.

With a package you also get a number of extras (see below).

Most people now choose a pack and I see that (also thanks to greater involvement) it produces deeper effects and that they often continue until they get a deep and solid result (rather than stopping at the first improvements, even before the lasting effect).

frequency

Weekly or every 2-week sessions with room for unexpected events. The more sessions in a pack, the more economic it is. Weekly sessions are more economic than sessions every other week.

sequence

Most people start with a pack of weekly sessions, then move to alternate weeks and finish with a few single sessions spaced out over a longer period of time.

time period

It is also possible to complete a package in less time, the time period indicated is the maximum time frame.

personal approach

Even with a package, the therapy will be completely tailored to your needs.

*Hybrid

Exclusively for those who really cannot afford the other options, but are keen to progress with regular sessions: 2 sessions per month, always alternating 1 session at the practice (60 min.) and 1 online session (30 min.) + the extras.

The extras of a pack

  • Telephone session 1 month after completion (20 min.)
  • Inspirational email (in Dutch)

Election help for number of sessions

Global indication for how many sessions are necessary to reach that emotions are of help, instead of bothering:

If you have a mix, the most heavy one count

Up to 24 hours before the appointment, it is possible to move or cancel it without costs. The normal rate applies in case of cancellation less than 24 hours before the appointment or the session expires in the case of a pack.

Packages and programs are paid for in advance.

In case of doubt

Call me, write me or make an appointment for an introductory meeting. I will gladly help you, even if you decide not to continue. In any case, the introductory meeting itself is considered useful.

Health insurance

Possibility of compensation from various insurances ('aanvullend') for single sessions, see: here how much your health insurance reimburses.

If you prefer to call your insurance company, then these are the data needed to find out how much your insurance reimburses:

  • agb-code 90 ("aanvullend")
  • VIT member (Vereniging Integraal Therapeuten)
  • RBCZ member
  • SCAG member

If the insurance doesn't cover, than a pack can be interesting for you, because you can get quite some discount.

Psychotherapy + Yoga

Calm your stress system

with the integrated combination

of yoga and psychotherapy

Benefits of integrating yoga

To reduce your stress level and prevent or alleviate burnout and reduce the risk of many diseases in which stress plays such a major role, such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, autoimmune diseases, chronic pain, etc.

For those who are sensitive, it is extra important to take rest in time and especially good quality rest, but more 50% doesn't.

Don't pass your stress on to your children
Live relaxed and confidently
connected with yourself and your environment

What are the signs of too much long-term stress?

Worse memory, concentration problems, increased alertness, high muscle tension, negatively coloured or greater emotional reaction to memories.

Other signs of stress are: difficulty sleeping, restlessness that is difficult to calm down, not being able to relax properly or having difficulty taking rest and increased irritability.

In short, stress can have many consequences and because we get used to stress, we sometimes no longer notice it, and relaxing becomes even more difficult.

Stress also has many causes, for example it can arise from fear or worries, from trauma, how you treat yourself or a combination.

Precisely because of this combination of factors
and the severity of the possible consequences
we offer a combined approach
increasing effectiveness

Tiffany

I am Tiffany, a yoga therapist and passionate yoga practitioner. Eight years ago, I discovered yoga as a gentle way to support my rheumatism. What started as a physical exercise grew into a lifestyle that improved my physical, mental and spiritual well-being. I soon felt the desire to share the profound benefits of yoga that I had experienced myself with others.

Since 2022, I have been teaching group and private yoga classes. A special experience with a private student, who was able to reduce his anti-anxiety medication after our sessions, thanks to breathing exercises, inspired me to combine my background in clinical psychology with yoga, in yoga therapy.

My mission is to help you regain control over your health

In my therapeutic yoga sessions,

I offer practical exercises

that you can ultimately use independently

to support your mental well-being

Specializations:

  • Hatha Yoga
  • Yoga Nidra (ideal for better sleep)
  • Meditations
  • Breathing exercises
  • Nervous system regulation (from the Polyvagal theory)

Cinthya

My name is Cinthya and i discovered yoga at a very young age. seeing my father practicing meditation and yoga every morning motivated me to start my own yoga practice 17 years ago.

I traveled to India to deepen my knowledge and curiosity and there I completed 150 hours of yoga psychology. I have a bachelor degree in psychology and I always find it very interesting mixing these two different but also similar currents.

I like to guide my students from a very humble place
as yoga is a way of living every day,
connecting with ourselves and calming our mind.

Specializations:

  • Vinyasa Yoga (200 hours training)
  • Yoga psychology  (150 hours training)
yoga Nidra, mantras, philosophy, asanas, karma yoga and the practice of practicing the yoga lifestyle that is to turn your attention inside and connect
  • Pranayama
respiratory techniques to regulate the nervous system and meditation exercises with visualizations, and recognition of emotions with a body scan

Other combination options

Even more complete approach in the same practice

If you want to tackle it in an even more complete way, whereby you are helped even more holistically via the physical path, then that is possible in the same practice with Riek Taekema (classical homeopathy, in English, Dutch or Italian) and/or Karin van Spriel (acupuncture, in English or Dutch).

I see that those who choose this approach, progress even faster psychologically. Actually that is obvious, because body and psyche are completely intertwined and the treatments can reinforce each other in this way.
